Read on to discover the various ways that you can improve your credit rating and credit score. Credit scoring aims to predict a person’s behaviour. If you are in a situation where you have no history you are unlikely to obtain credit as simply because you have no history where credit is concerned. A way to build credit is by applying for a specific credit card. Ensure that you stick within your limits and make payments on time. This way you can build your credit from scratch or even repair a chequered past.

Ask for a quotation search rather than a credit search: If you are aiming to get a precise quote, for example for online loans. Specify to the lender that you don’t want a credit search, but a quotation search. This way anything negative will not affect your credit score.

The electoral role: It is essential to be signed up to the electoral role. If you are not registered it is highly unlikely that you will get any credit.

Stability is important: If you are employed instead of self employed and own your home rather than rent it, you are more likely to be accepted. Instead of a mobile phone number, add a landline number on application forms. Being with the same employer, at the same address and with the same bank for some time, all will also help your credit score.

Carefully time applications: Make sure you don’t apply for many things all at once. For example, searches for mobile phones or car insurance can leave a mark on your file; it’s not just credit searches which do this. If you are earning you are also more likely to score better.

Cancel any unused accounts and credit cards: If you have access to too much credit, this can also be an issue. Bank accounts which are long standing are beneficial and help to boost your score, in cases such as this, leave the account open.

Never default or miss a payment: Always pay at least the minimum amount on a payment. If you miss or default on a payment, you will cause such a negative impact on your credit score, which can be affected for years to follow. Contact the lender if you are really struggling, as at the end of the day it is worth changing your repayment plan to avoid a CCJ.

The world as we know it is in major recession, it makes no difference what part of the world you are from, the world financial crisis is never too far away. The term superpower is something that has been branded around for years. In recent times, China and India have come forward as merging economies but is there any truth in the rumours that these countries will one day be more dominant than the United States?

The problem with this statement is that it doesn’t really cover all the areas that are considered. China and India are now starting to build their economies so that they can be taken seriously in the world market but because both these countries have rising poverty in certain areas, the figures that are produced are somewhat flawed. Nobody can argue that both these nations have not come a long way, but until they stop receiving aid from the west, the fact that the economy in these countries is booming will be short lived.

Many people today think that it is all over in the west. Well, in some respects this is true as the west is no longer dominant like it was 20 years ago, but the one thing that can not be over looked is that western countries like the USA, still have the respect of the globe as a whole. Many countries may not like this fact but it is no secret that the world wants to trade with the States. If we only look at the music industry this shows that the States holds all the cards.

A musical artist from the States can pretty much guarantee success around the world, but if another nation tries to export their music Stateside, they often find that failure is never far away. Let’s see what the next 10 years brings.

For the last 2 years we have heard nothing but doom and gloom from the likes of Sky News and BBC news 24. You will have had to have been living under a stone if you have not heard about the worlds’ economic problems. One country that the world never

expected to see on its knees was the United States of America. The USA has been the most dominate force for a number of years. The USA is also regarded as the last standing superpower since the break up of Russia. In the last few weeks we have seen this iconic country have its credit rating down graded to the shock of the world.

That said, the USA often bounces back from economic problems very well. Trade in and out of the States has remained relatively steady but there has been little or no growth. Although the USA looks like its hay days are over, we have to remember a few keys things. This county doesn’t receive aid from other countries and can be proud in saying that it can support its entire subjects with no intervention from the international community.

The future for the USA is bleak at present but a nation as big and successful as the USA will not just roll over without fighting their way back to the top of the tree.

So in conclusion, the USA has seen itself hit rock bottom and if we are to believe what the politicians tell us, the USA is due for a rise again as the world markets stabilise. Let look on and see how our globe is re shaped.
